Facilities

The Civic Hall can accommodate anything from a small meeting for 6 up to a 320-seat capacity concert. Our facilities include portable licensed bar, disabled access, lift to all floors and toilet facilities.  Both the Large and Lesser halls have staging, stage lighting and sound system; technical assistance can be made available on request.  An induction loop is available on request.  Ample pay and display car parking is available nearby.

A café/bar service is available when hiring the Large or Lesser Hall.  Please note ALL provision of alcohol must be arranged through the Holmfirth Civic Hall Community Trust (HCHCT) approved list of licensees.  The Reception room also includes café/bar facilities.  Catering services are also available, again from the HCHCT approved list.

To discuss your requirements or to visit and look at the Hall, please get in touch by email on bookings@holmfirthcivichall.co.uk or by phone on 01484 682643.

Disabled Access at Holmfirth Civic Hall

Holmfirth Civic Hall does allow for disabled access. We have a step free ramp from the pavement to the main entrance and a lift to all floors once inside the building.  However, whilst we try and accommodate everyone who visits the Civic Hall, it is a historic building and therefore has limitations on adaption for accessibility.

The building is fully accessible for people with limited mobility issues and standard wheelchairs. However, the configuration of the lifts and lift lobbies can be problematic for those with larger mobility scooters.  The floor area of the lift is approx 110cms by 140cms accessed through one door and by exiting through another so any wheelchairs, scooters etc will need to be able to turn inside the lift to ensure full access to the building.
